A Century of Broadway by Toronto Symphony Orchestra

Oh alright, I did hear songs from Chicago and the Phantom of the Opera as I expected, but the rest 12 selections were totally oblivious… The concert repertoire was really about the ‘Century of Broadway’ from Give My Regards To George to the Phantom of the Opera, a timeline that has been unknown to my shallow music knowledge. That’s right, I’m just a common music lover who only saw two musicals in her life… After all, I enjoyed the eccentric and vivacious performances of Christine Noll who changed her dress in every two songs, and Doug LaBrecque, who was more somber and formal than the other. It was a lovely night to spend once in a while.

(although I did go to another TSO concert two days after on Russian Romantics. My comment: Rachmaninoff never fails me!!)
